About the conference

Who can participate in the conference?

There are no specific conditions or conditioned access. All are welcome! 🙂

How can I get to Skopje in an efficient way? Do I need any insurances?

There are a few airports all in a reasonable range from Skopje: Skopje International Airport (SKP), Ohrid St. Paul the Apostle Airport (OHD), Sofia Airport (SOF) and Prishtina International Airport (PRN) are all about three to five hours by bus away from Skopje. Taking the train is not recommended due to frequent delays and cancellations. For finding bus connections, the webpage rome2rio.com is recommended. Since some bus companies require booking by phone or E-Mail, if you need additional support, feel free to write an E-Mail to us ().

Please check yourself if you have sufficient insurance to cover occuring incidents.

Can I attend the conference for free?

No, you have to buy a ticket and complete your registration.

What is the conference duration?

The conference will last for 4 days, beginning on October 5th and ending on October 8th 2023.

Where will the conference take place?

The main conference venue will be located at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technologies in Skopje.

Is there a conference app I can download?

No, there will not be any app. All the event information are available in the event website. For any help before and during the conference you can message us by email.

Will this be a digital conference?

No, the complete event will take place in Skopje and there won’t be live recording feeds.

We are really looking for to meet you in person, if you’re up to it!

I have food restrictions, how should I proceed?

You will receive a questionary about your dietary in the following weeks after purchasing your ticket.

What is included in the conference ticket?

The registration fee includes: 

  1. Conference Entry – full participation in workshop and plenary sessions, company visit (incl. Transportation if needed) and access to sponsors/partners
  2. Conference bag 
  3. Welcome drink
  4. Lunch for Friday and Saturday
  5. Coffee break
  6. Gala Dinner + reception drink
  7. EYE after–party
  8. Certificate of participation

Not included: hotel, travels, optional activities and personal expenses

    Registration & Payments

    How can I register for the conference?

    You can register at the event website, by filling out the form following the “Tickets” button.

    To benefit from the special rates applied to members, you should send a copy of the membership card from your associations. Without these elements the registration may not be accepted.

    What is the deadline for my registration?

    The deadline is September 16th.

    How can I pay the conference ticket?

    The accepted forms of payment are: credit card.

     

    Please take the following into consideration:

    • Participants are responsible for the transaction costs of 5 €.
    • Your registration will be confirmed after payment and you will receive the confirmation by the agency Kinissi.
    Are there any special discounts or conditions?

    EYE Association Members have a special price, you can confirm the details on the tickets page.

     

    I have bought a conference ticket. Do I need to pay any extras to participate in the Gala Dinner?

    No, your registration fees already include the Gala Dinner attendance.

     

    Will I receive confirmation of my registration?

    Yes, you will receive an email with the confirmation of your registration.

    Do I need to bring my registration confirmation to the conference?

    Yes, you should have available the email registration confirmation and the proof of payment.

    What is your refund policy? What happens in the case of a cancelled event?
